She is survived by: her husband Bert James Wheeles, Jr.; her children, Bert James Wheeles, III and Carolyn Jean Fitzgerald; her grandchildren, Brian K. Fitzgerald, Jr. (Heather Glisson-Fitzgerald), Matthew Robert Fitzgerald (Meredith Amason-Fitzgerald), Brandon Andrew Fitzgerald (Ashley Lively-Fitzgerald), Faith Marie Grant (Tehaka Grant), Heather Nicole Fitzgerald, Bert James Wheeles IV "B. J." and Robert Wheeles "Robbie"; and her sister Kelly Hood (David). She is also survived by ten great-grandchildren.
