It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Amy Anderson Shorter of Brooks, Georgia, born in Atlanta, Georgia, who passed away on August 4, 2021, at the age of 50, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her father Robert Lee "Bob" Anderson; and her niece Parker Ann. She is survived by : her children, Hank and Samantha (Sam); her husband Scott Shorter of Brooks; her mother Janis Hughes Anderson of Brooks; her sister Virginia Lee Overton; her brother-in-law Trace Lee Overton of Stewart, TN; her nieces, Payton Marie Bell, Preslee Hope Bell, Addie Bell and Lanie Overton; her great-niece Piper Ann Bell; her aunt Susan Jolly of Hampton; and her pets, Hank and Samantha (Sam).

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Amy's memory to Brooks Christian Church or The Pink Posse Foundation of Georgia.
