He is survived by: his wife Doris Tanksley Thompson; his children, Barry Thompson (Judy) and Teresa Musselwhite; his grandchildren, Matthew Thompson, Christopher Musselwhite (Michelle) and Amanda Buckley; and his great grandchildren, Chase Musselwhite, Makayla Sorrells, Kai Buckley and Christina Musselwhite. He is also survived by several nieces, and nephews.
