With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Homer Robert Wood of Brooks, Georgia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 12, 2025 at the age of 87. He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Homer and Bertha Womack Wood; his brother Gene Wood; and his daughter Michele Wood. He is survived by: his wife Jackie Willoughby Wood; his daughter Kimberly Armistead (Joe); his grandchildren, Joey Armistead, Logan Armistead (Dakota) and Laney Armistead; his great grandchild Layla Armistead; and his sisters, Janice Kelley, Rebecca Cown (Wade) and Judy Richardson (Larry).
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 17th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Mowell Funeral Home and Cremation Service - Fayetteville (180 N Jeff Davis Dr, Fayetteville, GA 30214).
