Irvin D. Grier Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Irvin D. Grier of Brooks, Georgia, who passed away on September 22, 2025, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Samuel and Essie Morgan Grier; his wife Janice Massey Grier; his brother Samuel Grier; and his son-in-law George Kennon Stalvey.
He is survived by: his children, Patricia (Johnnie Brown), Cindy Stalvey of McDonough, Joey (Ginger Grier) and Mark Grier of Quitman; his grandchildren, Cole Grier (Erica), Cameron Grier (Christine), Kyle Brown (Andrew Wilson), Keely Frech (Matt), Travis Stalvey (Heather) and Tyler Stalvey (Alea); and his sister Nancy Burks of Thomasville. He is also survived by 12 great grandchildren.
A graveside service was held on Thursday, September 25th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Hillcrest Memorial Gardens Cemetery (1692 Adel Hwy, Quitman, GA 31643).
Flowers will be accepted but no donations are requested.
