He was predeceased by : his parents, Johnnie Carver and Bessie Day Carver; his great grandchild Joselyn Raine Matthews; and his siblings, J. H. Carver, Willard Carver, Emory Carver, James Edward Carver, Clara Mae Sears, Geneva Solomon and Betty Smith.

He is survived by : his wife Mary Lou Carver of Broxton, GA; his children, Jimmy Cecil Carver of Broxton, GA and Patricia Anne Carver Daniel of Broxton, GA; and his grandchildren, Benny Chad Carter, William Cecil Carver, Jamie Nicole Edge, Janna Nichelle McKinnon, Kimberly Deanna Daniel and Danielle Daniel Haskins. He is also survived by Eleven Great Grandchildren.
