He is survived by: his wife Carmen Santiago Ornelas; his sons, Luis Ornelas of Mexico, Armando Ornelas of Broxton, Georgia and Rogelio Ornelas of Broxton, Georgia; his daughters-in-law, Alda Hernandez and Kasey Ornelas; and his half-siblings, Gonzalo Barran of Douglas, Georgia and Maria Guadalupe Santigo of Ambrose, Georgia. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; three great grandchildren.
