With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jacob Arthur Lott of Broxton, Georgia, who passed away on October 4, 2025 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Jacob departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Jacob. Though Jacob may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Lott and Mary Lillian Lott; and his brother Raymond Lott. He is survived by: his children, Tim Lott (Paula) of Broxton, GA, Johnny Lott (Vickie) of Douglas, GA, Jason Lott (Kayla) of Pridgen, GA and Debbie Roberts (John) of Douglas, GA; his stepdaughter Annette Wilcox (Mark); and his siblings, Jimmy Lott (Lyna) and Mary Evelyn Lott. He is also survived by Eighteen Grandchildren, Twenty-seven Great-Grandchildren, Three Great Great-Grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Sims Funeral Home (201 N Peterson Ave, Douglas, GA 31533). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Sims Chapel (201 N Peterson Ave, Douglas, GA 31533).
