She was predeceased by: her parents, Morgan Sidney Moon and Addie Mae Todd Moon; her husbands, Grover C. Smith and W. S. Spann; her son Clyde Smith; and her siblings, Bennie Lee Moon, Alvin Jerome Moon, Frances Irene Moon Simmons, Geraldine Moon Coursey Epps, Lurlyne Moon Morris and Kathryn Moon Smith.
She is survived by: her children, Joyce S. Bland (Maurice) of Glennville, Denise S. Craft (Dennis) of Broxton and Gary Smith (Hannah) of Broxton; her grandchildren, Sammijo Mercer (Brad), Amber Bland, Brian Bland, Levi Craft (Courtney), Ben Craft (McKenzie), Brandy Hicks (Michael), Garrett Smith (Ally) and Dillon Smith (Callie); her siblings, Don Moon (Nadine) of Brooklet, Dale Moon (Amie) of West Green, Georgia and Kay M. Grantham (Johnny) of Broxton, Georgia; Rose Winn Smith of Ocilla, Georgia. She is also survived by eleven great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 6th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Broxton Church of God (1077 Alabama St, Broxton, GA 31519). A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 6th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, March 6th 2026 at the Reedy Branch Cemetery (96 Boxwood, Broxton, GA 31519).
In lieu of flowers, the family suggest that memorials be made to the Broxton Church of God, 1077 Alabama Street, Broxton, Georgia 31519.
