He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Rex Darwin and Rubye Moore Darwin; his wife Julia Darwin of Broxton, GA; his children, Nathan Lingenfelter (Kellie) of Douglas, GA and Brandi Darwin of St. Augustine, FL; his grandsons, Ben Lingenfelter, Jack Lingenfelter and Evan Lingenfelter; and his sister Marjorie R. Bragg (Tom) of Blackshear, GA.
