She is survived by: her husband Dwight Moody Plyler Jr.; her children, Mary Ouida Plyler of Miami and Dwight Moody Plyler III (Anna) of Atlanta; her granddaughters, Patricia, Monica Vega, Caroline and Elizabeth Plyler; her great grandchild Gigi Tomlin; and her brother James Grist Whitehead (Stephanie).
