He was predeceased by: his parents, Rev. Ellis Clinton Rainey and Annie Browning Rainey. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Diane Rainey of Brunswick; his children, Marcia Rainey Medders of Jacksonville, FL. and Brian Earl Rainey of St. Simons Island, GA.; and his siblings, Beverly Rainey Brown of Brunswick, GA., Donna Rainey German of Brunswick, GA. and David Rainey of South Carolina. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild, and several nieces and nephews.
