He is survived by: his wife Connie; his children, Gerry Herndon and Jodie Goodyear (Chad Goodyear); his grandchildren, Callen Goodyear and Janalee Goodyear; and his siblings, Linda Herndon Owen, Sammy Herndon, Wyndell Herndon, Joyce Herndon Tran, Warren Herndon, Don Herndon and Darryl Herndon. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
