Harold leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. Harold’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. Though he is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support he offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Harold will carry forward his memory in their hearts.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Carley Zell and Anne Zell; his wife Lucy Zell; and his brothers, Gerald Zell and Donald Zell.
He is survived by: his children, Carla Zell of St Simons Island and Dickey Zell (Charlotte) of St Simons Island; his granddaughter Brooke of St Simons Island; and his brother Royald Zell (Rudine McDonald) of Tampa, FL. He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Temple Beth Tefilloh (1326 Egmont St, Brunswick, GA 31520).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Golden Isles, Golden Isles Youth Orchestra, or a charity of your choice.
