She was predeceased by: her parents, Benjamin Franklin Gibson and Alice Thornton Gibson; her husband Leonard Knudsen McQuaig; her daughter Karen McQuaig Morris; her siblings, Clarence Gibson, Carl Gibson and Lois Howard; her siblings-in-law, Willie Connor, Nolan Howard, JoAnn Gibson and Jane Gibson; her son-in-law Harvey H. Cooper; her nieces, Gale Bagwell and Jan Gibson; and her great-nephew David Howard.
She is survived by: her daughter Kathy McQuaig Cooper of Brunswick; her sister Joyce Gibson Connor of Charleston, SC; her son-in-law Terry Morris of Gulf Breeze, FL.; and her grandchildren, Robert Hamlett (Juana) of Stafford, VA, Christopher Cooper (Joanna) of Meridianville, AL, Regan Wood (Geoff) of Raleigh, NC, Kristin Morris of Gulf Breeze, FL and Caroline Morris of Tampa, FL. She is also survived by 10 great grandchildren; 1 great grandson-in-law; 4 nieces; 3 nephews; 9 great nieces and nephews.
