He was predeceased by: his father Richard Mahan. He is survived by: his mother Dorothy Mahan of Chapel Hill; his wife Devin Jones of Brunswick; his children, Albert Vess, Shawn Brown (Conchita), Ronnie Clark, Angela Udy (Dan), Summer Clark, Ruben Benitez, Lillian Clark (Sam Barnes), Tyler Martin (Alisa) and Michael Rainey (Nicole); and his brother Mark Mahan (Terri) of Temecula, CA.
