With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jimmie Paul Durrence Sr. of Brunswick, Georgia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 26, 2025 at the age of 73. Though Jimmie may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Jimmie touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Pharace Durrence and Sylvia Harden Durrence; and his brother Darrell Durrence. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Durrence; his son Jimmie Durrence, Jr. (Shannon) of Townsend; his siblings, Linda Pittman of Darien and Larry Durrence (Laura) of Brunswick; his grandchildren, Nicole Durrence (Chris), Jordan Durrence (Maddison) and Dylan Turner; and his great grandchildren, Rhyleigh Durrence and K. C. Cason, Jr..
