He was predeceased by: his parents, Jasper Brooks Wells and Eula Lenora Wells. He is survived by: his son Christopher Blake Wells of Waverly; his sister Robbie Wells Strickland (Phil) of Valdosta; his close friend Marsha Seppala (Boston) of Brunswick; his pet Maggie; his nephew Joel Strickland (Hope) of Loganville; his niece Laurie Ann Wright of Valdosta; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Cale Strickland, Addy Strickland, Cash Strickland, Megan Brook Tyre (Jeffrey) and Alden Jean Eddy; Adaleigh Grace Tyre and Colson Wells Tyre.
In lieu of flowers and in honor of Mike's love for his church and his dog Maggie, contributions may be made to Calvary Baptist Church or the Humane Society of South Coastal Georgia in Mike's memory.
