He is survived by: his wife Donna Steverson Mefford; and his children, Janet Tsoutsos, Geneva Thornton, Mary'Simmie'Versteeg (Brock), June Beckham, Mary Stull, Bill Skipper, Erwin'Sticky'Skipper and Johnny Propes. He is also survived by his 26 grandchildren, 41 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
