Judy Poole Joines Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Judy Poole Joines of Brunswick, Georgia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 24, 2026 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Maude Bailey Poole and Ernest Spurgeon Poole; her siblings, Ernest Odean Poole, Wayne Poole, Rebecca "Becky" Poole Hope and Tina Poole James; her sister-in-law Linda Marie Joines; and her nephew Michael "Mikie" Dahlmah Joines.
She is survived by: her children, Jean Joines Strasser (Kevin), Leigh Joines Chapple (Ryan) and John Joines (Rebecca); her grandchildren, Olivia, Kyle Strasser, Nathaniel and Gabriel Chapple; her sister Deborah Poole Smith; and her son Mikie. She is also survived by extended family.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that Judy's memory be honored with a donation to the non-profit Glynn Academy Band Boosters, Inc. to support the local music programs she loved.
