He was predeceased by: his parents, William Merlin Rutledge and Agnes Helene Amsden; and his siblings, Gary Lee Rutledge, Jacklyn Jean Meyers and Julie Ann Moody.
He is survived by: his wife Dianna D. Rutledge; his children, Carol Ann Buebel (Eric), Katherine Elizabeth Braddock (Milton), William Michael Rutledge (Samantha) and Stephen Marshall Rutledge (Priscilla); and his brother Terry Alan Rutledge (Gracie). He is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, May 10th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Brunswick Memorial Park Funeral Home (4407 Hwy 17, Brunswick, GA 31525).
