He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John Wesley (Jake) and Opal Roena Herrin Edgy; his brother Johnny; his cousins, Taft, Carroll Minchew, Brenda Rowe, Patricia Lewis and Edwin Minchew; his niece Jennifer Edgy Smith (Derek); his wife Heidi Edgy; his children, Kimberly Millard (Troy), Lance Edgy (Bonnie), Jamie Coxon (Frank), Brooke Bilodeau (Caleb) and Joshua Edgy (Ariana); his grandchildren, Taylor Ward (Benjamin), Hunter Ward (Kat), Madison Edgy (Matt), Arolyn Coxon and Catarina Coxon; his great-nephew Jacob; his mother-in-law Donna-Lee Wright; Ruth (Larry).
Visitation was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Victory Church-Light of Lights Chapel (1401 Griffin Rd, Lakeland, FL 33810). A celebration of life was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
