She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Hathaway Hornbeck and Jacob Ross Strzyzewski; her sons, Wayne Albert Hornbeck and Furman Ray "Bud" Crews; her siblings, Ann Hathaway, Alvin Palmer, David Alling Hornbeck, Alice Marie Hornbeck, William Hathaway Johnson and Robert Alling Johnson; and her great grandchild Ryan Mims.
She is survived by: her daughter-in-law Kathleen Crews Johnson; and her grandchildren, David Hornbeck, Elaine Hornbeck Barrow (Lee), Christine Williams (Rodney), Robin Hulsey (Stephen) and Wendy Del'Acqua (Michael). She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren, seven great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, Alice wished for donations to be made to Hospice of the Golden Isles.
