He was predeceased by: his parents, Dewey Royal and Juliavester F. Rogers; his wife Doris Elizabeth Rogers; and his sons, Michael Lee Rogers and Steven Gregory Rogers.
He is survived by: his son Jerry Rogers (Leigh); his granddaughters, Addie Price (John) of Brunswick and Adrianne Prescott (Richard) of Brunswick; his great grandchildren, Shelby Price and Zerrick Prescott; his daughter-in-law Rita Rogers of Brunswick; and his sister Jeannene Hooks of Macon. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 4th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home (3321 Glynn Ave, Brunswick, GA 31520). A graveside service will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Odum Cemetery (735 Tillman St, Odum, GA 31555).
