She is survived by: her children, Phyllis Leggett Herndon (Wyndel) and George David Leggett; her grandson Wyndel "Larry" Herndon, Jr.; her great grandchild KayLeigh Monroe Herndon; and her brother David Wayne Merier (Faye). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
