She was predeceased by: her parents, William Crews and Effie Celia Lowther Crews; her husband Emory Milton Batton, Jr.; her daughter Gayle Batton; her siblings, Mildred Johnson, Lorene Carter, Josephine Crews, Janie Carter, Nathan Crews, Owen Crews and Oscar Crews; and her son-in-law Jamey O'Steen.
She is survived by: her children, Joe Batton, Cathy Flansburg (Bruce), Billy Batton (Lynette) and Julie O'Steen; her grandchildren, Michael Jones (Loretta), Jennifer Jones (Joe Carter), Katie Mulkey (Dylan), Lilli Smith (C. J.), Derric Batton (Brittany) and Tanner O'Steen; her great grandchildren, Bria Cox (Brandon), Bryan Rowell (Sydney), Jaycee Rowell (David Taft), Bric Batton, Bleu Batton, Buck Batton, Beau Batton and William Smith; and her sister-in-law Mary Helen Davis (Will). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
