He was predeceased by: his parents, Monroe Hancil Cason and Leola Pearl McCarthy Cason; his wife Betty Cason; and his siblings, Leonard Cason, Johnnie Cason, Larry Cason and Donnie Mae Corbett.
He is survived by: his sons, Mike Cason (Angela) of Russellville, AL, Ray Cason, Jr. (Heather) of Brunswick, James Cason of Brunswick and Randall Cason of Brunswick; his siblings, Margie Carroll of Brunswick and Vyna Mumford of Hardeeville, SC; his grandchildren, Caroline Carbonaro, Spencer Cason, Jessica Hall and Hall; and his great grandchildren, Charlotte, Maleah, Joshua, Isiah, Esmerelda, Skylar, Safira, Casey and Stetson. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
