In the quiet moments of reflection, amidst the gentle rustle of leaves and the whispered song of the stars, we shall carry Roy's memory with us, a guiding light illuminating the path ahead. May Roy's journey be filled with peace and serenity, and may he find rest in the embrace of eternity.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edd Hadden and Rosa Lee Bennett; his wife Betty Hopkins-Hadden; and his siblings, Ora Lee Bennett Odom, Julia Bennett Goatly, Martha "Polly" Hadden Wilcher and Andrew Bennett.
He is survived by: his son Keith Hopkins (Julie) of Brunswick, GA; and his grandchildren, Austin Saathoff (Brittany) of Blue Springs, MO, Ryan Brown (Robyn) of Augusta, Steven Brown of Germany, Johnwayne Felix of Kansas City, KS and Kate-Lynn Brown of Germany. He is also survived by four great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, friends and family.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Durden Hudson Funeral Directors (206 E Pine St, Swainsboro, GA 30401).
