She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy E. Smith and Sarah Wiggins Smith; and her great-grandparent Jim Wiggins. She is survived by: her husband Lester Lindsey, Jr.; her daughter Jennifer Lindsey of Ludowici; her siblings, Peggy Stone (Jeffery) of Midway, James "Buddy" Smith of Naylor, GA and Charlie Smith (Rosemary) of Ringgold, GA; her grandson Levi Lindsey of Ludowici; and her uncle Billy Wiggins (Margaret) of Naylor, GA. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery (8819 US-301, Glennville, GA 30427).
