She was predeceased by: her husband Floyd Eugene Taylor; and her parents, Gordon Blalock and Ada Sapp Blalock. She is survived by: her children, David Taylor (Ann), Cindy Favata (Ted) and Bert Taylor (Mary); and her grandchildren, Keith Hudson, Emily Overholser, Chris Taylor, Amy Swartz and Jennifer Kelly. She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, and many nieces and nephews.
