The passing of Chloe Harvell of Buchanan, Georgia leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on October 27, 2025 at the age of 97. She was predeceased by: her parents, Melvin E. Smith and Lavada Skinner Smith; her husband Raymond K. Harvell; and her siblings, John D. Smith, Paul E. Smith, Floy Akers, Dorothy Wilson, Yvonne Cash, Joyce Halloman and Ruth Turner.
She is survived by: her sons, Michael Dennis (Therresa Harvell), Phillip Richard (Betty Harvell) and Charles Randall (Cathy Harvell); her sister Josephine Thompson of Carrollton; and her grandchildren, Kathy Smith, Lindy Fairel, Denise Watkins, Kayla Studdard, Kaysi Womack, Angie Mowery, Micheal Harvell and Christopher Harvell. She is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren with one on the way; and 8 great great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 29th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hutcheson's Memorial Chapel (71 Park Heights St, Buchanan, GA 30113). A funeral service was held on Thursday, October 30th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
