He is survived by: his daughters, Lisa Boatright of Villa Rica and Tammy (Steve Deese); and his siblings, Mery Newsom Akins of Bremen, Barbara Houston, Dink of Bremen and Charles Newsom, Jr. (Marie). He is also survived by eleven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews and friends.
