We are sad to announce that on April 8, 2024 we had to say goodbye to James Donnie Harper of Buchanan, Georgia, born in Carrollton, Georgia. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Barney Glen Harper and Lucille Ploof Kilgore; and his siblings, Jane Harper and Jimmy Harper. He is survived by : his niece Becky Ledbetter; his wife Jennifer Norton Harper; his children, Hope Tate (Jimmy, III) of Rockmart, Bethany Alexis Norton of Buchanan, Kaleigh Jade Norton of Buchanan, James Donny Harper, Jr. (Kristen) of Rockmart and Cody Lee Harper of Rockmart; his grandchildren, Ryker Tate, Noah Tate, Keira Tate, Donny Harper III, Jaylee Harper and Josie Harper; and his siblings, Sue Burns (Bob) of Temple, Danny Harper (Vicki) of Douglasville and Richard Harper (Lisa) of Tallapoosa. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and other family and friends.

Visitation was held on Friday, April 12th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Hutcheson's Memorial Chapel (71 Park Heights Dr, Buchanan, GA 30113). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 13th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that those desiring make contributions to help with the funeral expenses.
