He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph William Hunt and Addie Buttram Hunt; and his siblings, Johnny Hunt and Shirley Browning. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Weaver Hunt; his children, Joey (Tracie Hunt) of Buchanan and Dawn (Ricky Henson) of Buchanan; his grandchildren, Joey, Amber Hunt, Jr., Ashley, Jason Smith, Tyler, Victoria Sweatt, AnnaGrace Henson, Celea Gipson, Abby and Alex Burke; his great grandchildren, Nick, Jaylin, Jeremiah, Addie, Ridge, Harrison, River, Ty, Peyton, Braylan, Easton and Charlotte; his sisters, Betty (Dennis Gray) of Bremen and Judy (Charles Partridge) of Bremen; and his aunt Pauline Brown. He is also survived by other extended family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 3rd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Fellowship Baptist Church (1917 Rockmart Rd, Buchanan, GA 30113). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 3rd 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
