Violet Ann Fortner Obituary
We are sad to announce that on May 31, 2025, at the age of 66, Violet Ann Fortner of Buchanan, Georgia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie Norton and Bessie Causey Norton; her daughter Jennifer Bone; and her siblings, Diane Grimsley, Carolyn Cash, Annette Wyatt, Bobby Norton, Danny Ray Norton, Roger Norton and Max Norton.
She is survived by: her husband Donald Fortner of Buchanan; her son Donnie; her daughter-in-law Amanda Fortner of Rome; her grandchildren, Blake, Megan, Madison, Brianna, Joanna, Jesse of Julion, T. J., Amanda and Crystal; and her great grandchild Blakeleigh. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family.
A procession will be held on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Church Will Leave the Family Residence. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Welcome Baptist Church.
