He was predeceased by: his parents, James Walter Branyan and Sarah Marie Howell Branyan; his daughter Susanne Leigh Branyan; and his siblings, Nita Askew and Jack Branyan.
He is survived by: his children, Jolyn Davis of Monticello, GA and Justice Branyan; his grandchildren, Celie Clark (Alex) of Monticello, GA and Mason Davis of Madison, GA; and his great grandchild Emmett Clark. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
