With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Alan Frederick Lovitsch of Buford, Georgia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 21, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As we bid Alan farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Alan is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Raymond Lovitsch and Otillie Lovitsch of Chicago, IL.; his significant other Faye; his daughters, Lisa Lovitsch, Tracy Sheridan (Steve) and Holly Nelson (Marcus); and his brother Brian Lovitsch (Jean).

Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 29th 2025 from 10:15 AM to 11:00 AM at the Christ the Shepherd Lutheran Church (4655 Webb Bridge Rd, Alpharetta, GA 30005). A memorial service was held on Wednesday, October 29th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
