He was predeceased by: his daughter Melissa Fox; his parents, Leeman Fox and Pearl Peek Fox; and his siblings, Joyce Stiles, Robert, Leeman, Clifford and Olen Fox.

He is survived by: his wife Peggy Sue Fox of Buford; his daughter Karen Fox; his granddaughter Kayla Fox of Buford; and his sister Lucy Fox Hughes of Lilburn, GA. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Favor Hospice, 1400 Buford Hwy, Ste M 3, Sugar Hill, GA 30518 in memory of Ansel Fox.
