She was predeceased by: her parents, Bill Land and Ruth Land; and her sisters, Patricia and Martha. She is survived by: her son Toby Herring of Buford, GA; her granddaughter Allison Herring (Garrick Swartz) of Arizona; and her sibling's children, Tammy Woody (Dale) and Ricky Carswell (Renee).
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, August 3rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the American Legion Post 127 (6196 Suwanee Dam Rd, Sugar Hill, GA 30518). A memorial service will be held on Monday, August 4th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Georgia National Cemetery (2025 Mt Carmel Church Ln, Canton, GA 30114).
In lieu of flowers, donations should be sent to American Legion Post 127, Sugar Hill, GA or to Hooch Chapter B.A.C.A. of Georgia.
