We are sad to announce that on November 16, 2025, at the age of 91, Betty Jean Parker (Buford, Georgia), born in Seneca, South Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this luminous soul, let her loved ones carry forward the torch of her memory, illuminating the path ahead with the warmth of her love and the brilliance of her spirit. Though Betty may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, her essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Vera Gibson McCurley and George Gaines McCurley; her husband Cliff Parker; her son Bill; and her siblings, Buddy, Kathleen, Jeannette and Gerladine.
She is survived by: her daughter Sandy; her grandsons, Parker and Drew; and her brother Mike. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, January 11th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Hamilton Mill Memorial Chapel (3481 Hamilton Mill Rd, Buford, GA 30519).
