He was predeceased by: his wife Sally Berry McDaniel; his parents, Emmy McDaniel and Ethel Freeman McDaniel; and his siblings, Lucille McDaniel, Blanche Brownlee, Lois Strickland, Robert McDaniel, Alfred McDaniel and Neil McDaniel.
He is survived by: his son Steve McDaniel (Rena) of Buford; his grandchildren, Andrew, Victoria Kellogg of Buford, Dorothy and Roberto Almeida of Gainesville, GA; and his great grandchildren, Charleigh Kellogg, Caleb Kellogg, Maiah Almeida and Roberto Stephen Almeida. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
