He was loved and cherished by many people including: his former wife Annie Louise Weaver Ward; his parents, Millard Ward and Annie Ward; his siblings, Franklin Ward and Jenny Tallent; his wife Wynelle McLeod of Suwanee, GA.; his daughters, Annette Ward (David Hand) and Cheryl Hayes (Walter Hayes); his stepchildren, Tammy Perry (Chuck Perry) and Kevin Britt (Cathy Britt); his granddaughter Wendy Knight; his stepgrandchildren, Tara Carnes (Britton Carnes), Tiffany Dickerson (Michael Dickerson), Michelle Fazio (Tyler Fazio) and Marcus Britt; his great grandchildren, Hannah Knight, Sydney Knight, Ansleigh Knight, Olivia Knight, Hunter Knight, Caden Carnes, Grady Carnes, Charlie Carnes, Asher Dickerson and Annie Cate Fazio; and his brother Charles Ward.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Christ Place Church or the Lymphoma and Leukemia Foundation.
