He was predeceased by: his wife Vera Kathleen "Kitty" Cherry; his parents, Boyce Harry Cherry Sr. and Susie Cherry; and his son Phillip Cherry. He is survived by: his daughter Marian Cherry; his grandchildren, Kevin Vermillion, Cameron Vermillion and Emily Vermillion; his nieces, Lisa Buffington and Cheri Blevins; and his nephew Wyman Oxner (Patricia).
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 29th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Crowell Brothers Funeral Home & Crematory - Peachtree Corners Chapel (5051 Peachtree Industrial Blvd, Peachtree Corners, GA 30092). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, June 29th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
