He was predeceased by: his father Alvin Lonzo Samples. He is survived by: his grandson Eli; his mother Patsy Samples (Emory) of Cumming, Georgia; his children, Brianna Leigh Clark (Thomas) of Tallapoosa, Robert Allen Samples of Lawrenceville and Hailey Sharee Samples of Buford; and his siblings, Lori Samples Duncan (Trent) of Columbia, SC, Elaine Samples of Atlanta, Blake Samples of Jasper, Douglas Samples (Rynell) of Jefferson, Peggy Green (Lamar), Reda Grissom (Brandy) of Buford, Billy Samples (Brenda) of Talking Rock and Ann Hulsey (Joe) of Jasper. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
