She was predeceased by: her husband Ernest Bowman; her parents, Ray Puckett and Ilee Johnson Puckett; her siblings, Joan Puckett, Lesha Belle Isle (Stephen) and Larry Puckett (Mary); her sister-in-law Ruthann Cooper (Larry); and her parents-in-law, Gilford and Rachel Bowman.
She is survived by: her daughter Sharon Herrington (Robert) of Buford, GA; her grandchildren, Lauren Herrington of Buford, GA, Devin Herrington (Lilly) of Braselton, GA and Matthew Herrington of Buford, GA; her siblings, Janet Puckett of Suwanee, GA, Gail Frazier (Carl) of Buford, GA, Frances Meeks (Gerald) of Buford and David Puckett of Commerce, GA; and her siblings-in-law, Alice Clack (Lindsey) of Braselton, GA and Harold Bowman of Buford, GA. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Flanigan Funeral Home (4400 S Lee St, Buford, GA 30518). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 25th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home (4400 S Lee St, Buford, GA 30518). A burial will be held on Sunday, October 25th 2026 at the Broadlawn Memorial Gardens (5979 New Bethany Rd, Buford, GA 30518).
