He was predeceased by: his parents, George R. (Francis Eischen Jones) and America; his wife Ruth Starker Jones; and his children, Michael Kevin Jones (Chong), Kay Marie Jones and David Roy Jones (Caroline).
He is survived by: his children, Danny Jones (Kerrie), Robert Jones (Katie), Dianne Jones Miller (Todd) and Nancy Jones Atkinson. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
