It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edna Womack Baker (Buford, Georgia), who passed away on December 17, 2025, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. As we bid Edna farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Edna is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her husband James Baker; her sister Lena Cox Eiland; and her granddaughter Maddie Golden. She is survived by: her children, Terry Baker (Bonnie) and Bobbie Golden (Joe Buchanan); her niece Linda Cox Caswell (Lyle); and her close friend Ralph Sutera. She is also survived by five grandchildren, four great-grandchildren.
