It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Erma Mae McLaughlin (Buford, Georgia), born in Columbus, Ohio, who passed away on January 13, 2026, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Loretta (Giovanni) and Martha Loretta; and her siblings, Miles Loretta, Joseph Loretta and Teresa Loretta Young.
She is survived by: her husband Andrew McLaughlin; her children, Hugh McLaughlin (Rosemary), Jeri-Jean Vella Ferre (Frank) and Brenda Brown (Anthony); her grandchildren, Mark Vella, Teresa Workman (David), Nicholas Brown (Katrina), Trace Ferre (Jennifer) and Tarah Ferre; and her great grandchildren, Arteya, Ella Mae of David, J. T., Jordan, Cambrie and Maddax.
