He was predeceased by: his parents, John Frank and Rosie Regina Pawelek Barta. He is survived by: his brother John; his sister-in-law Susan Barta; his sister Regina Barta Irish; his brother-in-law Barry; his nephew Jeff Byers (Karen); his great-nephew Baylor Byers; and his great-niece Emily Trochez Diaz.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 9th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Crowell Brothers Funeral Home & Crematory - Peachtree Corners Chapel (5051 Peachtree Industrial Blvd, Peachtree Corners, GA 30092). A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 9th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Gary's memory to Children's Healthcare of Atlanta, supporting children and families in need.
