It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George Albert Rhyner in Buford, Georgia, born in Rock Hill, South Carolina, who passed away on March 23, 2026, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Edwin and Mary Rhyner of Rock Hill, SC.; his brother James Edwin Rhyner; and his daughter Timna Crawford. He is survived by: his wife Marlene; and his children, Marsha Knox (Doug), Roger Buttner, Clark Buttner (Joan), Melissa Hardy (Charlie), Cindy Gibbs, Derrick Hylton (Amanda), Kandie Norred and Kathie Hicks (Wes). He is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
